Truthy Thursdays
…it works. Thursday starts with the letter ‘T’. :P
- I don’t take compliments well. For example, if someone says, “You look really nice in a turtleneck,” I automatically think in my head, “they must think my neck is ugly. Why else would they encourage me covering it up with a turtleneck.” Oops. I get feel anxious and nervous when people say nice things to or about me. So my awkwardness definitely prevails.
- I love folding clothes. That’s my all-time favorite part of doing laundry.
- Christmas is usually not a favorite holiday of mine. I love being able to give gifts to all my loved ones (I usually still do that year round) but the Christmas season is usually my least exciting time. I think working in retail all my life has drained that joy out of me.
- This year would mark the 8 year anniversary of my grandmother’s passing. She passed away just before Christmas my senior year of highschool. I still miss her very much.
- I’ve been enjoying my ukulele very much. I hope to eventually be able to play the Mario theme song on it. Chords seem to be the hardest thing for me to master. I can finger pluck progressions like a pro for some odd reason.
