I’m slightly self conscious of my grasp of the English language.  Since English was my second language learned growing up…I often mix up the way I say things.  The placement of words in Vietnamese is oftentimes different than in English.

So…that sort of adds to my whole quiet nature.  I hate sounding dumb so I’d rather not say anything than have someone laugh at me for saying something incorrectly.  :/

Nowadays, English is the primary language I speak.  My Vietnamese is pretty broken compared to when I was younger.  So not only am I self conscious of my English…I’m pretty overly aware of my Vietnamese around family.  I generally don’t talk much around extended family. lol
